This one bed room 2 bath cabin functions best as a romantic get away, but can accommodate more with the pull out sofa and day bed downstairs. Upstairs is a king bed with memory foam mattress, and a private bath with jetted tub.
Tucked against the mountainside the sun sets early and rises later giving a sensation of rest you will experience nowhere else. Plus, its is positioned equal distant from Biltmore in Asheville to the west and Chimney Rock at Lake Lure in the east. Don't forget about the walking trails of the Florence nature preserve.

Fiber WiFi will allow streaming on multiple devices, as you warm yourself by the fire. The fully equipped kitchen allows for meal prep or use the national park style grill outside. But most guest enjoy the hidden swing down by the water the most. (And if your stay is in the fall snack on some fresh pears from our pear tree).
We love our little secret cottage, but there are some things to know. This quirky old cabin has some seriously steep stairs, both outside on the walk up and leading to the second floor. Tall guest should note the peculiar 6'6" ceiling downstairs.
